The Cyhornet Story & Team
Cyhornet is a community-driven AI education hub dedicated to empowering underserved communities with the tools they need to thrive in the digital world. We teach practical, hands-on skills in a way that is accessible, relevant, and focused on solving real problems, whether in agriculture, small business, or everyday life.
Mission
To make AI education accessible to those who need it most, including students, youth, job seekers, farmers, and small business owners, through inclusive, responsible, and practical training programs.
Founder’s Story
When I relocated from Nigeria to the U.S., I struggled to find corporate opportunities. I didn’t have the skills required for most roles, and the gap felt overwhelming. I started taking short online courses and any other resources I could find to learn and catch up.
That experience shaped how I view education today. Cyhornet was born out of that struggle. It exists to ensure students and underserved communities don’t have to face the same uphill battle. With the right tools and training, anyone can learn and succeed.
Cyhornet is supported by educators, technologists, and community leaders across the U.S. and Nigeria. We believe in teaching through empowerment, not just instruction. Everyone on our team brings local knowledge and a commitment to accessible learning.
Our Values (Next 1 – 3 Years)
We believe AI education should be accessible, ethical, community-led, and practical, equipping individuals to apply what they learn in real-life situations.
In the next 1–3 years, Cyhornet aims to:
- Train over 100 local facilitators globally
- Scale AI-powered projects in education, farming, and sustainability
- Build strong partnerships across the U.S. and African learning hubs
How Cyhornet Started
Cyhornet started with one free workshop in Port Harcourt. We showed young people how to build a chatbot using a no-code tool. Their excitement made it clear: AI education doesn’t need to be complex or exclusive. It just needs to be accessible.
